Wind Energy Foundation Launches WindForce^TM

The Wind Energy Foundation is dedicated to supporting and growing the wind energy workforce through education, training, grants, and scholarships. As part of this effort, the Foundation this week announced the launch of WindForce^TM.

“We are preparing for tomorrow by training, educating and developing the next generation of wind energy professionals,” said Darlene Snow, Executive Director of the Wind Energy Foundation.

Advancements in wind energy technology, combined with an abundance of natural gas supplies, will eventually make energy independence a reality. And wind-generated electricity will be an important part of our energy mix. That’s why becoming a member of WindForce^TM—the Wind Energy Foundation’s community of environmental professionals for a wind energy workforce—is a practical thing you can do today to help your co-workers, young people entering the job market, and local economies. Your donations however large or small will be put to work creating new programs in workforce development, training, and college scholarships for careers in wind energy.
